Black Book 2021: 350 Hawaiian leaders to know

This 24th edition contains brief profiles of key decision makers and community leaders who shape Hawai’i.

Welcome to the 24th edition of Black Book, the largest annual roundup of the profiles of Hawaii’s business and nonprofit leaders.

You will find profiles of 350 people: many are well known, while others are building their reputations or working in less important roles to help their organizations succeed.

To prepare for Black Book 2021, we surveyed companies in the fall and gathered biographical information on their most senior executives. The companies surveyed appeared in Hawaii Business Magazine Top 250 List, which ranks businesses and nonprofits based on their annual gross income.

Black Book is comprised primarily of these 250 senior executives, as well as selected leaders from Hawaii’s best workplaces and recent cohorts of emerging leaders of our 20 for the next 20.

This year’s Black Book will be available online in February 2022. If you’d like to check out the list sooner, purchase a print edition of our December issue by calling (800) 788-4230 or subscribe to our magazine here.
