Amalia’s Mesoamerican Tabletop Book Launch Event

Amalia’s Mesoamerican Table is a Guatemala-centric sequel to Amalia’s Guatemalan Cuisine, my first book. Join me in celebrating its launch!
I am delighted to share that after nearly four years of hard work, I will be launching my second book, Amalia’s Mesoamerican Table: Ancient Culinary Traditions with Gourmet Infusions. I am grateful for all the support I have received during my literary journey, and especially for all my sponsors and partners who are helping me bring this event to life.

Many thanks to Diana Pierce, MA / Leadership for the facilitation. Muchas gracias, Nicolas Carter Harpist, for traveling from New York to perform at my event.

I invite you and a friend or two to join me for a fun and delicious party on Thursday, October 7, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Fueled Collective. Participation is free, but you must register before October 4th.

Fueled Collective is located in the historic Grain Exchange Building in downtown Minneapolis and is a very large space with high ceilings with enough space for social distancing. The Gateway parking ramp at 400 S 3rd St, Minneapolis, MN 55415 is just yards from the site and $ 6 vouchers will be available for those parking at this ramp.

Thank you, sponsors and partners:

About the book

With incredible biodiversity and rich history, Mesoamerica has food for everyone, as well as naturally vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. But the experience of fully enjoying the dishes of this region only increases when one understands how the ancient cultures behind them were born. At Amalia’s Mesoamerican Table, Chef Amalia Moreno-Damgaard uses her blend of ancient culinary traditions with modern infusions to create fresh, healthy recipes that are sure to appeal to home cooks and professional chefs.
